Statue Cruises is the only authorized provider with access to the grounds of Liberty Island and Ellis Island
There are lockers available on the island for $2 (12 in x 12 in x 12 in size, quarters only)
The time that you choose is to join the queue to enter the Security Screening Facility, not a specific ferry departure. The wait time can be several hours, particularly during peak season, including summer, weekends, and holidays
Getting there (Battery Park):
Metro: 1 to South Ferry (last stop); 4 or 5 to Bowling Green
Bus: M1, M6 or M15 to South Ferry (last stop)
Ferries depart approximately every 25 - 30 minutes from the New York departure point
Dress according to the weather
Tours operate rain or shine
Strollers and wheelchairs are allowed
Authorized guides and service animals are welcome
Allow at least 3 hours to see both islands
2 PM priority entry will not allow enough time to visit Ellis Island
