About Punic Town of Kerkuane

Kerkuane is unique: a Phoenician-Carthaginian town abandoned during the Punic Wars and never rebuilt over, so its street plan, houses and even bathrooms survive as the Carthaginians left them. Set on a beautiful stretch of Tunisian coast, its pink-plaster baths and mosaics offer an unmatched glimpse into a civilisation that Rome otherwise erased.
