The Hundred 2026 brings fast 100-ball city cricket to London's Lord's and Kia Oval, 21 July–16 August — an eight-team men's and women's competition.
The Hundred is English cricket's newest and fastest format: each innings lasts just 100 balls, matches are done in a couple of hours, and eight city-based franchises field both men's and women's teams over a single high-summer window. Launched in 2021 and designed to draw new and family audiences, it leans into music, big-screen entertainment and a party atmosphere alongside the cricket, with the women's and men's games often played as back-to-back double-headers at the same ground.
## What to expect
The 2026 competition runs from 21 July to 16 August. Two of the eight teams are based in London — playing at the historic Lord's in St John's Wood and The Kia Oval in Kennington — so the capital hosts a steady run of fixtures through the group stage. The season builds to the knockout stage in mid-August, with Finals Day held at Lord's on 16 August, where both the men's and women's champions are crowned. Expect short, punchy matches, music between overs and a relaxed, family-friendly crowd.
Tickets are sold per match through the official site and go on sale well before the season; London double-headers and Finals Day are the most in demand, so book early. Both grounds are easily reached by Tube.

Where it happens
How to get there
London is served by several airports; Heathrow (LHR) to the west and Gatwick (LGW) to the south are the main international gateways, both linked to the centre by fast train (the Heathrow Express to Paddington or Gatwick Express to Victoria). The Hundred's London fixtures play at Lord's and The Oval. For Lord's, use St John's Wood station on the Jubilee line, a 5-minute walk; for The Oval, Oval station on the Northern line sits right by the ground. Check your ticket for the venue, then use the Tube rather than driving, as parking is minimal on match days.
