Fly into Vienna International Airport (VIE); the City Airport Train (CAT) or the S7 reaches the centre in around 16–25 minutes. The Musikverein sits beside Karlsplatz in the first district. The nearest U-Bahn station is Karlsplatz, served by lines U1, U2 and U4, a two-minute walk away, and trams D, 1, 2, 62 and 71 stop nearby. From the airport, take the train to Wien Mitte and transfer to the U4 for a couple of stops. The hall is central and easy to reach on foot from the Ringstrasse.
