MEO Kalorama 2026 — Lisbon, August 2026

MEO Kalorama has, in just a few years, become the headline summer music festival within Lisbon itself. Launched in 2022 and returning for its fifth edition in 2026, it plants itself in Parque da Bela Vista, a large green park on the city's eastern side, and builds a festival around three threads it returns to every year: music, contemporary art and sustainability. Being inside the city rather than out on a distant field is a large part of its appeal, letting festival-goers combine long nights of live music with the rest of what Lisbon offers.

## What to expect

Across three days and multiple stages, the programme leans into international headliners and a broad spread of indie, pop, rock and electronic acts, threaded through with visual-art installations dotted around the park. The organisers make a point of the festival's environmental and design credentials, so expect a considered site rather than a muddy free-for-all. Crowds are large but the in-city location keeps logistics manageable.

Parque da Bela Vista is reachable by metro and bus from central Lisbon, so there is no need to camp. Buy tickets ahead through the official channels, as day and full-festival passes sell in advance.

Fly into Humberto Delgado Airport (LIS), just 7 km from central Lisbon. MEO Kalorama is held in Parque da Bela Vista, in the east of the city. From the airport, the red metro line connects to the wider network; Bela Vista and Chelas stations on the red line are the closest stops, a short walk or shuttle from the park entrances. A taxi or ride-hail from the airport takes around 15 minutes. Festival shuttle buses and extra late metro services usually run to move crowds after the headline sets.
