SNØ is a vast indoor ski arena at Lørenskog on the edge of Oslo, the largest of its kind in Europe. Under a glacier-inspired roof it holds a long alpine slope divided into family and racing sections, a freestyle terrain park and, unusually for an indoor centre, a dedicated cross-country skiing loop. Kept a few degrees below freezing on real snow, it runs all year and caters for everyone from first-timers in ski school to Norwegians training out of season. Equipment hire, restaurants and other facilities make it a full day out. It suits families, learners and keen skiers alike.
It is Europe's biggest indoor arena and one of very few anywhere with proper cross-country trails as well as an alpine slope, so you can ski or train year-round on real snow just minutes from Oslo.
