About Tallinn

The Estonian capital's Old Town is a remarkably intact medieval gem, its cobbled lanes winding between merchant houses, guild halls and Gothic churches within nearly complete town walls. An upper town of noble mansions and viewing platforms looks down over red rooftops and spires to the Baltic. Cosy, walkable and steeped in Hanseatic history, it's utterly enchanting.

Tallinn’s historic core is inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List (as “Historic Centre (Old Town) of Tallinn”, 1997).
