About Burgundy

Burgundy is France's wine heartland — the Côte d'Or's limestone slopes produce some of the world's most celebrated (and expensive) Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays. The Route des Grands Crus winds through villages whose names read like a wine list: Chambolle-Musigny, Puligny-Montrachet, Meursault. Between tastings, medieval abbeys, Romanesque churches and the walled city of Beaune reward the culturally curious.
