The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival returns to the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California over two weekends in 2027: April 9-11 and April 16-18. One of the world's highest-grossing music festivals, it features hundreds of performances across multiple stages spanning rock, pop, hip-hop and electronic music, alongside large-scale art installations. Advance passes went on sale in May 2026; the artist lineup is typically announced later in 2026.

Coachella takes place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, in California's Coachella Valley east of Palm Springs. The nearest airport is Palm Springs International (PSP), about 30 minutes' drive away; many festival-goers also fly into Los Angeles (LAX) or Ontario (ONT) and drive roughly two to two-and-a-half hours east on I-10. There is no useful passenger rail to the site, so plan on driving, a rideshare, or the official festival shuttles that run from Palm Springs and nearby hotels. Book accommodation and transport well ahead, as the valley fills completely across both festival weekends and roads near the grounds slow to a crawl at gates-open time.
