The Fes Festival of World Sacred Music gathers musicians and spiritual traditions from around the globe in the historic Moroccan city of Fes. Founded in 1994, it stages concerts in atmospheric venues such as Bab Al Makina, Jnan Sbil Gardens and the Batha Museum. The 2027 edition has not yet been officially dated but is traditionally held between the last Friday of May and the first Friday of June, so expect roughly late May to early June 2027.

How to get there
Fly into Fès–Saïs Airport (FEZ), about 15 km south of the city. A taxi (petit or grand taxi) reaches the medina and festival venues in roughly 20–30 minutes; agree the fare or insist on the meter before setting off. Many performances take place at Bab Al Makina and courtyards around the historic medina, whose lanes are pedestrian-only. The nearest rail hub is Fès train station (Gare de Fès), well connected by ONCF trains from Casablanca, Rabat and Marrakech. From the station it is a short taxi ride or 25-minute walk to the festival heart around the old town.
