Après & vibe

Après is low-key and family-oriented, with mountain restaurants on the hill and the full amenities of Vrchlabí town just below.

The resort

Herlíkovice, on the slopes of Bubákov above Vrchlabí, is a compact family resort in the Krkonoše (Giant Mountains) of northern Bohemia. It is a well-groomed, approachable area that leans firmly towards families, beginners and intermediates, with wide pistes descending the hillside and comprehensive snowmaking to shore up the naturally modest Czech mountain snowfall. Sitting at the southern gateway to the Krkonoše, it makes an easy weekend getaway from Prague and pairs neatly with the wider network of resorts around Špindlerův Mlýn nearby. Expect a relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere, good facilities for children and learners, and classic rolling Giant Mountains scenery rather than high-alpine drama.
