Après & vibe
The Špindlerův Mlýn town centre buzzes after the lifts close, with a wide spread of restaurants, bars and nightlife unusual for a Czech resort.
The resort
Svatý Petr is one of the two linked ski areas that make up Špindlerův Mlýn, the busiest and most cosmopolitan resort in the Czech Republic. Rising from the resort town on the Labe river, it delivers a proper alpine feel by Czech standards, with tree-lined pistes threading up toward the ridges of the Krkonoše, the highest range in the country. The mood is sociable and holiday-focused, with a genuine town at the base full of hotels, restaurants and bars, making it a natural pick for families and mixed-ability groups. Extensive snowmaking underpins a season that runs through the Central European winter, roughly December to March. It pairs neatly with the resort's other sector, Medvědín, across the valley.

Skiing & terrain
Dedicated learner areas and gentle lower runs make starting out straightforward.
The bulk of the terrain is comfortable red and blue cruising.
A steeper marquee descent gives stronger skiers a proper test.
Limited genuine expert terrain; the appeal lies in piste variety and atmosphere.
Špindlerův Mlýn base town
Unlike many Czech ski hills, Svatý Petr rises straight from a lively resort town, so the après, dining and evening scene are a real part of the trip.
