About Pre-Hispanic Town of Uxmal

Deep in Yucatán, Uxmal is a masterpiece of Maya Puuc architecture, its buildings adorned with exquisitely carved stone lattices, rain-god masks and serpents. The rounded Pyramid of the Magician, the elegant Nunnery Quadrangle and the vast Governor's Palace make it, for many, more beautiful than Chichén Itzá — and far more peaceful.
