▸ Getting there

How to get there

Fly into Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport (SYD), around 8 km south of the CBD. The Airport Link train runs from the domestic and international terminals straight to the city in roughly 15 minutes; alight at Museum or Town Hall for the parade heartland along Oxford Street in Darlinghurst. Kings Cross station also sits close to the eastern end of the route. On parade night (early March) streets around Oxford, Flinders and College are closed to traffic and packed hours ahead, so arrive early, use the train rather than driving, and follow marshals for the best viewing spots.
