About Glass Window Bridge

The Glass Window Bridge spans the narrowest neck of Eleuthera, where only a few metres of rock separate two seas at very different colours: the dark, storm-driven navy of the open Atlantic on the east, and the calm, pale turquoise of the Bight of Eleuthera on the west. The original natural rock arch was destroyed by hurricanes and replaced by a road bridge, repeatedly battered and rebuilt. The contrast of the two waters meeting at one point is one of the most photographed sights in the Bahamas.
