The resort
Czarna Góra is a modern, family-oriented ski resort on the mountain of the same name in the Śnieżnik Massif, part of the Sudetes range in Poland's Lower Silesia. It is one of the better-equipped areas in the Polish Sudetes, with a good spread of lifts and thorough snowmaking feeding varied pistes down the hillside near Stronie Śląskie in the Kłodzko basin. The terrain covers gentle nursery ground through to some steeper reds, making it a strong all-round choice for families and mixed-ability groups, and night skiing extends the day on floodlit runs. The wooded Sudetes setting and nearby spa and sightseeing towns of the Kłodzko valley round out an easy, accessible weekend break.
