St. Anton am Arlberg

The big, buzzing hub of the Arlberg at around 1300 m, and one of the great names in Alpine skiing — steep terrain, legendary off-piste and some of the loudest après in Austria. It sits right on the main railway, so you can arrive by train, but the town gets busy and the skiing is not kind to beginners.
