The snow centre
Silichy is a compact, purpose-built ski centre set in the low, rolling countryside of the Logoisk district, and despite modest terrain it is one of Belarus's best-known winter destinations. The vertical is small and partly built up with earthworks, so this is squarely a place for beginners, families and improvers rather than seasoned mountain skiers. Modern snow cannons and grooming keep the runs skiable through the cold Belarusian winter, and floodlighting means the hill stays open into the evening. A snow park, a big-air zone and dedicated learner and children's runs round out the offering. It suits a day or weekend out from the capital more than a dedicated ski holiday.

Broad, gentle nursery and children's runs make this a strong learner's hill.
A handful of longer pistes give improvers room to build confidence.
Limited genuinely steep terrain, so committed skiers will exhaust it quickly.

How to get there
Minsk National Airport is the gateway, with the city of Minsk itself only about half an hour away.
