The snow centre
Ski staza Aleksandar club is a small local ski slope set within Košutnjak, the forested park on the southern side of Belgrade. It is a modest, low-lying city hill rather than a mountain: a short run or two served by a lift, used by beginners, children and locals when winter cold brings enough snow. The complex is as much a leisure spot as a ski area, well known for its large garden, restaurant and one of the finest views over Belgrade, busy in the warmer months too. Winter skiing runs in daytime and floodlit evening slots, and there is a sledging slope alongside. Being low and urban, snow is marginal and the ski season short, so treat it as a fun local outing rather than a destination.
