Ergan Mountain rises steeply on the flank of the peak that shares its name, looking out over the broad Erzincan plain far below. How to get there
The packet gateway is Erzurum (ERZ), roughly two to three hours away by road; in practice Erzincan's own airport (ERC) sits far closer, only a short drive from the slopes, making it the more convenient arrival point.
From Erzincan the resort is a quick uphill drive of only a few minutes to a quarter of an hour, one of the shortest city-to-slopes transfers of any Turkish resort.
Best time: Deep winter, from January into March, offers the coldest, driest snow and the longest reliable season.
