The resort
Myler is a recently developed mountain resort in the Aragatsotn region, laid out on the highland flanks below the great volcanic massif of Mount Aragats, Armenia's highest mountain. Built from scratch with modern gondolas and chairlifts, it offers a compact but neatly graded spread of pistes covering all levels, backed by artificial snowmaking to secure the season. Its position within about an hour of Yerevan gives it easy access, and its newness shows in the up-to-date lifts and base facilities. The resort is still growing, with an evident ambition to become a regional draw. For now it makes a bright, uncrowded and affordable option, particularly for families and improvers looking beyond Tsaghkadzor.
Go for fresh, modern infrastructure and quiet, well-groomed slopes close to the capital, with all the appeal of a resort still finding its feet. It suits families, beginners and intermediates, and travellers keen to sample Armenia's rising winter-sports scene in a scenic Aragats setting.

How to get there
The gateway is Yerevan (EVN); the resort lies roughly an hour's drive from the airport up into the Aragatsotn highlands.

Best time: The heart of winter, roughly January and February, offers the coldest temperatures and the most reliable cover on the pistes.
