Après & vibe
The village of Białka Tatrzańska offers plenty of restaurants, bars and the Terma Bania thermal baths, giving a warm, sociable off-slope scene.
The resort
Kotelnica Białczańska sits above Białka Tatrzańska, a lively resort village in the Podhale region on the edge of the Polish Tatras. It is a compact but efficient station, famous for one of the most comprehensive snowmaking systems in Poland, which keeps its broad, well-groomed slopes running dependably through the season. The terrain is friendly and confidence-building, tailored to families, beginners and cruising intermediates, and the whole area buzzes with the warmth of a Polish mountain-holiday village. A big draw is the adjacent Terma Bania thermal spa, ideal for soaking after a day on the snow. Prices are keen and the atmosphere cheerful rather than exclusive.
