Après & vibe

A café in the main building, plus sauna and rentals, give a cosy Nordic-style base.

The snow centre

Valgehobusemäe suusa- ja puhkekeskus sits amid the forests and lakes of the Kõrvemaa protected landscape, a low but characterful hill by Estonian standards. Its alpine side is a short, wide learner slope served by a drag lift, better suited to beginners, families and snowtubers than to seasoned skiers, while the real strength is a network of floodlit cross-country trails winding through the reserve. Modern snow cannons and grooming help the centre operate through the cold Baltic winter, and a café, rentals and sauna make for a comfortable day out. A tall observation tower and a challenging disc-golf course keep it busy in the green seasons too. This is a gentle nature-and-recreation venue rather than a mountain resort.

The slope

Beginners

A wide, gentle slope and snowtube runs make it a friendly first-timer's hill.

Intermediates

Modest downhill terrain; the long cross-country loops suit fitter skiers.

Advanced

No advanced alpine pistes.

Experts & off-piste

Not an expert alpine venue.

Floodlit cross-country trails

Lit Nordic loops of several kilometres thread through the Kõrvemaa reserve, the centre's real winter highlight.

Valgehobusemägi observation tower

A tall tower nicknamed the Eiffel Tower of Järva County gives sweeping views over the forests and lakes.
