How to get there
The listed gateway is Košice (KSC), across the border in Slovakia; the nearest domestic airport is Ivano-Frankivsk, with the resort reached by a road transfer through the Carpathian foothills.
The final leg is a road transfer of a few hours from the gateway airport up into the Carpathians, typically by shuttle, taxi or hire car.
Best time: Midwinter, roughly from the depths of the cold season into early spring, offers the most reliable snow and the fullest resort atmosphere.
