The Formula 1 season, race by race

Travel guides for every Grand Prix weekend: getting there from the UK, getting to the circuit, where to stay and what to know.

  • 5 races to go this season
  • Next: Mexico City Grand Prix, 30 Oct – 1 Nov 2026
▸ The season

The 2026 Formula 1 season has 5 races still to run, from the Mexico City Grand Prix (30 Oct – 1 Nov 2026) to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix (4–6 Dec 2026). All dates are confirmed by the official Formula 1 calendar (checked 28 October 2026).

Each race guide covers the logistics: flights and trains from the UK, how to reach the circuit on race days, where to stay near the track or in the city, with stays pre-set from the Thursday before to the Monday after, and the circuit's own rules on bags, heat and access. Tickets are sold by each circuit; we link to the official ticket pages. Races marked “Sprint weekend” add a short extra race on Saturday, on top of Sunday's Grand Prix.

The FCDO currently advises against travel to Saudi Arabia: that race page carries the warning and no booking links. The FCDO has warnings in place for Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Azerbaijan and Turkey, though it doesn't advise against travel there. Travel advice can change at short notice, so check it before you book.
